Making Healthy Claims: How to deliver positive product claims with or without EFSA regulations

As the EFSA have announced that it will be hosting a health claims summit, the process for submitting health claims is in disarray. With the vast majority of health claims being rejected, more and more F&B organisations such as Danone are pulling their health claims submissions until more clarification is given.

But will the June summit really provide more clarification?

To help the industry forge a new way forward in challenging times, Food Ingredients Europe has reacted with a critical update to its health claims conference agenda to offer alternative solutions to succeed alongside this regulation, including how to generate quick wins with softer and natural claims.

You can still discover the best advice on research trials, health claims submissions and the resulting outcomes, but now Making Healthy Claims now also contains a new track alongside the original programme which will give you key solutions on how to prosper and succeed without submitting a health claim to the EFSA.

Attend this new conference track to discover how you can implement alternative solutions that still deliver a positive and healthy message about your products:

Utilise natural and softer claims in a ‘back to basics’ approach to push different benefits in your products
Develop quick wins by cutting out the time and cost of health claims submissions
Understand what you can and cannot say without a health claim submission

This is your opportunity to not only gain best practice on the health claims process but also to hear unbiased and impartial advice from key analysts, legal representatives and manufacturers on how to succeed without an official health claim.
